Decorative Edges w/shop
Any type of quilt can be enhanced by the addition of a good border. Edges which are shaped carry the eye around the quilt and add interest.
There are many techniques, all easy and fast which can add this effect and they can also be used to give a new twist to patterns within the quilt, techniques such as 'Wiggles', 'Curves', 'Stacked curves', 'Points', 'Scallops' and 'Clamshells' will be covered and samples made for future reference.
